Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance

VendLabs ("VendLabs", "we", "us") is based in Perth, Western Australia. By using our website, our online design tool, or one of our vending machines (together, the "Service"), or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund & Returns Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

VendLabs lets you design a custom phone case — using your own photos, text and our AI-assisted tools — and either have it shipped to you (online orders) or printed on the spot at one of our machines. We may update, change or withdraw parts of the Service at any time.

3. Orders, pricing and payment

• All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices and promotions may change without notice, but changes won't affect an order you've already paid for.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your full card details.
• An order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if there's a pricing or stock error, suspected fraud, or a design that breaches these Terms.
• Online orders are printed to order and shipped to the address you provide. Please double-check your phone model and shipping address — we can't guarantee changes once printing has started.
• Delivery times are estimates and can vary by location and carrier.

4. Your designs and content

When you upload an image, add text or generate a design, you confirm that:

• you own it or have permission to use it (including from anyone appearing in a photo);
• it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark or other rights;
• it isn't unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant VendLabs a limited licence to store, reproduce and print your content solely to produce your order, provide support and comply with the law. We may refuse to print, and cancel with a refund, any design that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.

AI-assisted suggestions are generated automatically and may not be unique. You're responsible for the final design you choose to print.

5. Using our machines

Please use machines as intended and follow any on-screen instructions. Don't tamper with, damage or attempt to access the inside of a machine. If a machine takes payment but doesn't dispense your case, contact us — see our Refund & Returns Policy.

6. Consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that can't lawfully be excluded. Our Refund & Returns Policy explains how we handle faulty or defective products.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, VendLabs isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from content you supply, misuse of the Service, or events outside our reasonable control. Where liability can't be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the product or refunding the amount you paid.

8. Intellectual property

The VendLabs name, logo, website, software, designs and machines are owned by or licensed to VendLabs. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Third-party links and services

The Service uses third-party providers (such as Stripe for payments, and Google for our feedback form) and may link to third-party websites. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from its "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
