Privacy Policy

VendLabs ("we", "us") is committed to handling your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy covers vendlabs.ai, the online designer at app.vendlabs.ai, and our vending machines.

1. What we collect

• Contact and order details: name, email address, phone number and shipping address when you place an order or contact us.
• Your designs: the photos, text and designs you upload or create, and the phone model you choose.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and the last few digits/brand of your card, but never your full card number.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, feedback form, email or phone.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, if you subscribe.
• Technical and usage data: device and browser information, IP address, pages visited and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

2. How we use it

• to produce, ship and deliver your order, and to send order confirmations and updates;
• to answer your enquiries and handle returns, refunds and warranty claims;
• to send you our newsletter or offers if you've opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• to operate, secure and improve our website, app and machines, including measuring advertising performance;
• to detect and prevent fraud and comply with our legal obligations.

Your photos and designs are used only to produce your order and provide support. We don't sell them, use them in marketing, or share them with anyone except the service providers needed to fulfil your order.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service — payment processing (Stripe), hosting and file storage (Vercel), transactional email (Resend), our feedback form (Google), and advertising measurement (Meta).
• Delivery partners, to ship online orders to you.
• Regulators, law enforcement or courts where required by law.

We don't sell personal information.

4. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia (for example in the United States, Japan and Singapore). We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Storage, security and retention

We use reputable providers and industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your information. We keep order records for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet our legal and accounting obligations (generally up to 7 years for transaction records). Uploaded images are kept for a limited period to produce your order and handle any reprint or warranty claim, then deleted or de-identified. No method of storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and tracking

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel on our online designer) to keep things working, remember your cart, understand how the site is used and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.

7. Marketing

We'll only send you marketing emails if you've subscribed or made a purchase and haven't opted out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we'll remove you.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal obligations) by emailing mirasusa81@hotmail.com. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll aim to respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

9. Children

Our Service isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at vendlabs.ai/privacy with its "last updated" date.
